All monkey noticed this and then decided that no one will try to go up in the ladder as other has to suffer because of one and so afterwards if any monkey try to go up the ladder, the other monkeys beat that monkey who is on the ladder. And so after some time, no monkey dares to go up the ladder regardless of the temptation.
Scientists
then decided to substitute one of the monkeys.
The 1st thing this new monkey did was to go up the
ladder. Immediately the other monkeys
beat him up. After several beatings, the new
member learned not to climb the ladder even though never knew why.
Scientists then substituted another old monkey with new monkey. This monkey also do the same thing i.e to go up the ladder. But other monkey start to beat them. The most strange part was that the 1st new monkey also participated on the beating for the 2nd new monkey even though it does not know the reason.
A 3rd monkey was changed and the same was repeated (beating). The 4th was substituted and the beating was repeated and finally the 5th monkey was replaced. What was left was a group of 5 monkeys that even though never received a cold shower, continued to beat up any monkey who attempted to climb the ladder. If it was possible to ask the monkeys why they would beat up all those who attempted to go up the ladder I bet you the answer would be….

“I don’t know why but that’s how things are done
around here”
Does it sound familiar? Then let’s go through an another story
Elephants are the largest living
land mammals. It can be weighed up to 13 tons. At birth, an elephant calf may
weigh 100 kg. And yet we see a giant elephant in an indoor area tied to a
little wooden stake. Many elephants do heavy work like lifting trees and moving
logs with its trunk, yet it calmly stays tied. Why?

There are many people who behave
like the elephant. They have been told “You will never make it,” so many times
that they’ve begun to believe it. They may have dreams but the “imprinting”
keeps pulling them back. Same imprint make them to do say, “I don’t know why but that’s how things are done around here” And so
another elephant come into picture and this viscous circle continues.
In reality also, there are examples where you will
find yourself as Elephant who do not want to break the Mental Chain or the Monkey who is becoming Elephant. Here, Elephant are those who have some bad experience which make them to do the
task as it was doing traditionally without any change and Monkeys are those
young generation who have new ideas & thoughts but are suppressed by the
Elephant by giving the same old answer “I don’t know why but that’s how things
are done around here” and you have to follow it.

Trust my words, if there is fusion of experience of
Elephant and ideas of Monkey, Our India will Rock !
